Daft Bat is nestled at the foot of The Lomond Hills on The Falkland Estate, Fife.

Daft Bat is Fergus Black and Yvonne Purves.

We like to get creative with plants, herbs and flowers and make health and beauty products from natural and organic ingredients.

Having made many products for family and friends for some time and receiving great feedback, the concept of Daft Bat grew organically. We love making our products and coming up with new quirky yet sumptuous healthy recipes and ideas.

Everything worthwhile takes time and effort and we hope you agree that our products are worthwhile.

Contrary to the common held belief that our name is descriptive of Yvonne ;), let us share the true origin of the name.
Pictured is a little Pipistrelle bat that Yvonne found in a local B+B cottage wrapped in a mat. She enlisted the help of Nat and together they untangled it and called in the local bat conservationist group.
